Vacation coming soon!!

Next week we are leaving on a four day trip to the upper region of the lower peninsula of Michigan. I am going to tweet my trip and send pics to twitpic.com. You can follow me on Twitter by linking at the top of this blog. The Mackinac area is just loaded with history. Visit historic forts, shop and fish all in one area. As a kid i loved to travel to this area, and still do to this day. Fishing is a huge hobby of mine, and i hope to go trout fishing while there, but we will just have to wait and see. Recently i had the pleasure of eating in a diner that was just great. It is called The Stock Pot. Their specialty is Greek food, but they make killer omelets. I suggest the ultimate omelet, that's what i had and a very reasonable price make this a great stop if you are ever in Bay City, Mi!!

Anomaly or not? You decide

Well i am back after alittle bit of a break and now i will be blogging more often. So let's start today with a little observation of sorts. April 7th i was hanging with some friends, and i noticed things were different than usual. Our group prides itself on the fact that we are Pepsi drinkers and every time we hang out we all have Pepsi bottles. But not on this occasion, i seen one Frostop old fashioned root beer, 2 Seven Ups, and one lonely Vernor's Ginger ale. This may not seem too odd to some but it was to us, i am convinced that there was something amiss with the universe. Everyone else seemed to notice this anomaly as well. But in the end we all decided that it was just a coincidence and left it at that, or was it just that?

New Tech of day for Thur Mar 26th 2009

Today i would like to share with you another tech must have for those of you that need some extra space. I bring to you the keyboard with extra under key storage. yes that's right now you can have extra storage for paperclips and pens all under your keyboard, how nifty can you get. I think once again this is a must have for anyone.  that tech guy or gal, that just needs extra space. This is my pick of the week, nothing else even comes close.

New tech of the day!!

When i first saw this item i was amazed at how ingenious this was. This nifty little gadget is exactly what anyone, who has ever had a cold drink get warm, really needs. A great idea for that tech savvy person in your life. The cooler is plugged into your computer, via USB port, and will keep your beverage of choice at a very cool 45 degrees. Now how cool is that, no pun intended. So if you want to keep your drinks from getting warm, then my tech pick of the day is just for you!!

Does this remind you of Flash Gordon?

My post this fine day comes from a friend she has this glass in her private study, and i think it looks like a scene out of the Flash Gordon movie. At least the pane in lower left hand corner. The scene where the ship is coming through the clouds. Well anyway we both thought that it did.

I have decided in today's blog i would write about coffee. Whether or not you like coffee it is astounding at the multitude of people that drink it. I for one am drinking a cup right now as i write this. My coffee this morning was purchased at Speedy Q gas & convenience store for a whopping .63 cents. It has a decent blend and taste for the chump amount of change... I should also mention it is a 20 oz cup, which just adds to the great deal i found this morning. So as my coffee ends so does this.. I am amazed I was able to write about coffee this long. Have a great day people!!

I start the day and the first thing i do is hop on Twitter. I scroll down and i read all my updates. Alot of people are pretty interesting folk. The one thing that they all have in common is birthdays. As we are on the eve of the day i first took a breath on planet earth, i ask everyone to share in the joys of a birthday celebration. Whether it's your kids or a close personal friend, birthdays can be fun. And also remember not to Drink & Drive. 

Next Tuesday is St. Patrick's Day and whether you are Irish or not i believe it is an essential day to just let loose and party. So i would like to blog about this wonderful day and all the joys it brings people. Tell me your stories and share photos. and i will pick 2 to feature in a special blog next week. Lazy Saturday

Well here we are yet again for a lazy Saturday. One of my favorite things to do on one of these days is basicly nothing. Oh sure, wake up eat breakfast, take a shower get the kids ready, etc... But what do you do after that? It's different for all people. Today i am going to share some pics, cause i feel it's such a lazy Saturday that writing a ton seems like alot of work for these kinds of days.  Check back often i may be pic blogging some pretty cool things. Thought for today, like my son Joe pictured to the left, on a lazy Saturday have fun doing whatever it is that you do. Untill next time, Peace!!

Create your fun, it's possible!!

The weekend is upon us, and what are you doing? This is a question that can get anybody thinking. I for one am a free spirit that travels around from place to place and is reaping the many rewards of having good friends. So what do you want to do? Well,  for us this is a Q & A on a massive scale. My friends and i are the only group in our area to develop a Wii bowling league, that we are aware of,  and man is it fun. I personally have a 299 in league regulation, but no 300.( only perfect games i have had are practice games). With only 4 weeks left though we need to up the tempo and score big. I will let you know in the coming weeks how i end up in the final standings, but i can say now i am the 1st place leader with almost 20,000 pins. This is the thought of the day, just because they don't have it doesn't mean you can't do it. Create what you want to do. Like Wii Bowling leagues.
